66 year’s ago the late Ray Shanklin Sr started The Golden Crowns. When they first started

They did not have any guitar player’s But after many year’s of singing God’s Praises.

He Blessed them with a guitarist. God also elevated two of the member’s to become Minister’s

How ever the call of death come’s in every life and it came and called the founder home.

It was hard to replace him, but one did  the late Virgil Ryland, he became the manager. There

has been many of struggles after the passing of Virgil . The group had to see who would take

The roll of manager. Stepped up Bro Tony Thorn the current manager. God has blessed The Golden Crown’s to record a few CD ‘s. Their current CD entitled Striving has hit the airwave’s.

The hit song’s on this CD are the title cut Striving, Mountain, Heaven & I Love The Lord.

Current Member’s are Tony Thorn Montell Ryland, Allen Byrd, Jason Thurston, Rev. Bobby

Johnson, Joe Gentry, Ernest Striver, Andre James& Rev. Nathaniel Brown II. These young men
